Things I like.
Things I love.
Things I probably shouldn't openly admit.
I love:
- Mornings. Early mornings. Oh, you'd love me in the mornings.
- Christmas.
- New Year's Eve. It is filled with so much potential.
- The french language.
- Accents. (I'm not talking about home decor either.)
- Spending time with my friends.
- Listening to my cats purr loudly when they sleep close.
- Spending time with people who've known me for decades.
- Laughing with and at my family.
- Art. So much of our lives is an art and art.
- Not having curtains and still being invisible.
- Hearing James' voice.
I like:
- baristas who know the sound of burning, rather than heating, milk.
- Lattes with the right amount of foam. Not too dry, not too wet.
- Naps. I miss taking naps. I always feel so much better afterwards.
- Thinking that someone that I want is thinking about me. (Not in a narcissitic way either.)
- A good run. A peaceful run. A run where I can make my mind blank.
- A good cabernet on a tough day.
- Hearing and watching the birds early in the morning while I stay in bed.
- People. I'm very social and a loner at the same time.
- Documentaries.
I shouldn't openly admit:
- That I like to have my forehead kissed by the guy I like.
- That I used to "liberate" lawn ornaments from people's lawns.
- That some of those ornaments found their way onto other people's lawns.
- That when I love someone I never stop loving them.
- That I stood on my balcony in my nightie on Halloween while a bike parade (with LIVE band in tow) passed by the house. They were friendly.
